HotelDesk Plugin System Is Now Available

We are pleased to announce that the HotelDesk Plugin System is now available. Hotels can extend the application with additional tools and specialized workflows without changing the core HotelDesk installation.

Extend HotelDesk for your hotel

Plugins can add dedicated pages, configuration options, operational tools and integrations while maintaining the same interface and design as the main application.

The new plugin area allows users to:

• Browse available free and paid plugins.
• Filter plugins by type and compatibility.
• View detailed information before installation.
• Install compatible plugins directly from HotelDesk.
• Install plugins manually from a ZIP file.
• Activate, deactivate and update installed plugins.
• Receive notifications when a new plugin version is available.

One HotelDesk license

Plugins do not require a separate license key. Purchased or assigned plugins are connected to the active HotelDesk license, making installation and activation easier to manage.

Before displaying or installing a plugin, HotelDesk checks its compatibility with the application edition, operating system and current plugin version.

Free and paid plugins

The plugin catalog supports both free and commercial extensions. Free plugins can be installed immediately, while paid plugins become available after purchase or after they are assigned to the customer’s HotelDesk license.

Available purchasing and installation options may vary depending on the HotelDesk distribution channel. Manual ZIP installation remains available for supported plugin packages.

Desktop and remote module integration

Plugins are managed from the HotelDesk desktop application. When a plugin also includes functionality for the remote web module, the required components can be deployed and synchronized with the configured remote installation.

Plugin pages and navigation elements follow the existing HotelDesk layout, typography, spacing and interface components for a consistent experience across the application.

Built for future expansion

The plugin system creates a flexible foundation for new HotelDesk capabilities, including operational tools, integrations, reporting extensions and specialized hotel services.

New plugins will continue to be added to the catalog as the HotelDesk ecosystem grows.
